OTOPLASTY EARS
Otoplasty is the procedure used to reshape one or both ears. Patients who are unhappy with the size, shape or orientation of their ears can change their appearance with this outpatient procedure.

Your surgeon will choose the best technique that suits the amount of correction your ears need. Local anesthetic and sedatives are applied to adults and general anesthesia is mandatory for children. The procedure can take between one and two hours, depending on the extent of the procedure.
CANDIDACY
Both children and adults are perfect candidates for these procedures, as they can fix a variety of congenital and aesthetic defects like Microtia, Macrotia, cryptotia and much more. Any children under four years will not be a candidate since their ears are still developing, but there can be exceptions to that rule.
