BODY NON-SURGICAL PROCEDURES
LASER VEINS REMOVAL

Varicose veins are a very common problem, mostly among women, but men can suffer from it too. Varicose veins are groups of small veins that appear on your thighs or face. They can be bluish, purple or red and are often painful. They occur when your veins dilate or overfill with blood.

They appear when veins aren’t functioning as they should. Instead of preventing blood from flowing backward, they start to accumulate it, resulting in the raised, swollen and red appearance.

Prevention

You can prevent the appearance of varicose veins by walking and exercising regularly to keep the blood flowing. Small things like taking the stairs can make a difference.
Wearing compression stockings can also help prevent this problem, as the compression helps to keep the blood flowing.

Treatment

There are several ways in which varicose veins can be removed, here at Juventus we use the laser removal method:
It’s done from the outside of your skin, so it’s a good solution for those who don’t want to undergo surgery. This method can treat spider veins and little varicose veins under the skin. Depending on the amount and size visible veins you have, your doctor will recommend a given number of sessions. Usually, more than one session is needed. Keep in mind that this procedure is effective for small veins. Any larger vein must be first treated with surgery, endovenous laser or radiofrequency.
